The Neighborhood

The Littlefield 1890 Victorian Retreat and Bungalow Suite are located in a peaceful, small-town neighborhood with roosters, goats and many birds making their homes here. You may hear music from the local park, which is across the street, as it does host events at times. The park also has a public swimming pool. Please verify that it is open and the hours before planning to use it.

Also within walking distance is the historic San Miguel Mission, founded in 1797.

The Elkhorn

California’s second oldest bar, the Elkhorn, is a two block walk. In 1869 and 1870, the notorious outlaw Jesse James, and his brother Frank, frequented this bar while Jesse recovered from a gunshot wound at the nearby Drury James ranch, which was owned by a family member.

It is a short 10 minute drive to downtown Paso Robles where there is wine tasting and many restaurants, shopping and antique stores.
